Integration Hero: Hanna

Enable U is made up of individual heroes. Some work with clients, others send invoices. Some are our first point of contact when we get a call and others work in the background to keep systems running or make new connections.

The Enable U machine works so efficiently mainly because of our many integration heroes. This series of Integration Heroes is meant to honour those individuals.

Hanna is working at Enable U as UI/UX Designer.

So, Hanna, what do you actually do all day?

Throughout the day, I engage in a variety of tasks geared towards enhancing user experience and interface design. This involves brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas, visualizing concepts, creating wireframes and prototypes, collaborating with stakeholders, and iterating designs based on feedback.

When did you join Enable U?

I joined Enable U in March 2022.

What did you do before you joined us?

Before joining Enable U, I studied marketing and after graduation participated in international volunteer programs. This experience broadened my horizons and fueled my passion to change the world for the better.
After formal and non-formal education, I started working for an e-commerce company. It was there that I gained experience in design.

What part of your current role do you like most?

The part of my current role that I enjoy the most is the opportunity to brainstorm and visualize ideas. It allows me to unleash my creativity and bring innovative solutions to the table.

What do you do to keep your knowledge up-to-date?

To keep my knowledge up-to-date, I regularly utilize online courses and platforms that offer insights into the latest trends and technologies in UI/UX design.

How would you describe Enable U as a company?

Enable U as a company can be described as forward-thinking and solution-oriented. It’s a place where people feel comfortable, freely exchange ideas, and help each other out. This environment fosters creativity and empowers employees to make meaningful contributions.

Work is important, but what do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I love to immerse myself in creative activities such as participating in workshops, visiting exhibitions, and attending concerts. I find inspiration in exploring different forms of art and culture, whether it’s discovering new artists or experiencing live music performances. Additionally, I have a passion for collecting vinyl records, as each one holds a unique story and adds to the rich tapestry of my musical journey. Alongside these interests, I still enjoy the thrill of travel, the freedom of riding my bicycle, and the joy of discovering new adventures in Vilnius and beyond.

You moved to a complete new environment, this must have had a huge impact on your personal life. How did you do that and how are you doing currently?

Moving to a completely new environment indeed had a significant impact on my personal life. However, I’ve been adapting by utilizing the new opportunities available to me here. While I do miss my family and friends, I’m gradually building a new support network in my new surroundings.
