Account Manager

What We Are Looking For: 

Enable U is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen our R&D team. You will work in a small team of highly motivated professionals, participate in sprint meetings and brainstorm sessions, write technical documentation, be involved in solving ongoing issues. Depending on your skills and desire you will also be involved in architectural decisions, in the improvement of our best practices and processes. 

What You Will Do: 

• Design, program, test and implement the frontend part of an application 
• Address issues related to user-friendliness and accessibility 
• Develop and design web applications 
• Share responsibility for a smooth development process and identify areas for improvement 
• Provide both solicited and unsolicited feedback to colleagues and the team leader during the development process, ensuring good communication about implementation 
• Build reusable components and create front-end libraries for future use 
• Facilitate the translation of designs and prototypes into high-quality code 
• Optimize components for maximum performance on a wide range of Internet-enabled devices and browsers 
• Understand how to translate the business requirements into technical solutions 
• Coach junior developers during their growth path at Enable U and act as a source of information for them 
• Being co-responsible for a smooth collaboration between colleagues from other departments and your own department 
• Staying up to date with the latest developments in the field 
• Having a talent for benchmarking and optimization 

What We Expect:

• 3 or more years of work experience as a front-end developer or in a similar position 
• Extensive demonstrable experience with Javascript, HTML/CSS, frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue, REST, API’s and GIT              
• Experience with Unit testing and/or integration testing is a must 
• Knowledge or experience of SASS/LESS, Docker, CI/CD with GitLab and UI/UX design is a big plus 
• Thorough knowledge of the backend and how to deal with it 
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development 
• You like a variety of tasks between the front and backend, and you are able to deal with this flexibly 
• Strong verbal and written English skills
